About the World Mappings Project

The world is very big. But the actual world each of us inhabit is based on where we live and where we travel. I started this project because I am interested in how we identify ourselves and our world by where we've been. My goal for this project is to gather many perspectives to see how differing geographic experiences translate to differing views of the world.

I am currently a graduate student in the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University . You can learn more about other projects of mine at my portfolio site (www.timszetela.com).

You can see my own World Map below. Segments of North America make up the center. Japan and Hong Kong are to the west; Europe is to the east. New York state has been growing every day since I've moved here. And hopefully I can add some new locations soon.
